The VACUDEST® ActiveDest® series' residual oil filter can be used to meet the highest quality requirements for the treated process water or as a police filter for canal dumping. They can be used to filter oil or hydrocarbon deposits from the distillate.

In most cases due to the new - ClearCat® -technology, the use of a residual oil separator is not necessary anymore.

The ActiveDest® series is adjusted in size to the VACUDEST® vacuum distillation units.

Three treatment steps are integrated into the unit:
1. Gravity filter
2. Adsorption step with adsorbent
3. Absorption step with active carbon

This construction guarantees optimal distillation qualities with the minimum of use of maintainance time.
